program, today announced a number of exciting and innovative new ways to use
Aeroplan Miles. Effective November 8, 2002, Aeroplan members can redeem their
miles for great winter getaways, including ski packages to Canada`s best ski
resorts, an upscale heli-ski adventure trip in the Selkirk Mountains, British
Columbia, and unparalleled packages including road trips with the Montreal
Canadiens. In addition, Aeroplan members continue to be able to redeem their
Aeroplan Miles for car rentals with Avis and stays at Best Western
International Hotels and Delta Hotels.

Today`s announcement follows a very successful test phase conducted
during the summer, where Aeroplan members could redeem their miles for the
first time for non-air rewards including hotel stays, car rentals, golf
packages and an unforgettable three-day high-speed training course at the Jim
Russel Racing Drivers School at Mont Tremblant.

SKI PACKAGES: Aeroplan members can exchange their miles for three- or five-day ski
packages including accommodation and ski lift ticket at Intrawest resorts Mont
Tremblant (Québec), Blue Mountain Resort (Ontario) as well as Whistler
Blackcomb and Panorama Resorts (British Columbia). Ski packages are available
starting at 25,000 Aeroplan Miles per person.

HELI-SKI ADVENTURE: Adventurous Aeroplan members can redeem their miles for a heli-ski
adventure trip from April 12-19, 2003 in the Selkirk Mountains. The package
includes: return flight in Executive Class to Calgary from any Air Canada
destination in Canada or Continental U.S.; transportation from/to Calgary
Airport; accommodation and meals at the luxurious Adamant Lodge; 100, 000
vertical feet of skiing with certified professional mountain guides and
specially designed powder skis and poles. The heli-ski package starts at
700,000 Aeroplan Miles per person.

MONTREAL CANADIENS HOCKEY PACKAGES: Hockey fans can redeem their Aeroplan Miles for various packages with the
Montreal Canadiens, such as a special parent/child day with the hockey team,
VIP evenings or afternoons and two unique road-trips to away games in Florida
and Washington. The road-trip packages include: three-night accommodation;
charter flight with the Montreal Canadiens; return flight on Air Canada to
Montréal; tickets for two hockey games and $US1,000 spending money. Montreal
Canadiens hockey packages start at 125, 000 Aeroplan Miles per person. Road-
trips are at 500,000 Aeroplan Miles per person.

HOTEL STAYS: Starting at 10,000 Aeroplan Miles per night, Aeroplan members can redeem
their miles for stays at any of over 2,000 Best Western hotels in Canada, the
U.S. and the Caribbean. Starting at 15,000 Aeroplan Miles per night, members
can stay at over 35 Delta Hotels across Canada.

CAR RENTALS: Aeroplan members can exchange their miles for a three-day weekend or two-
day rental at any participating Avis location in Canada and the U.S. Car
rental rewards start at 14,000 Aeroplan Miles.
