Aer Lingus today announced its plans to resume direct scheduled flights between Dublin and Shannon to Baltimore/Washington with effect from 30 March 2003, with fares as low as €228 return available on this website.
This will bring to five the total number of US gateways to which the airline will operate direct services next year. The existing gateways are New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Baltimore is a key US gateway which provides Aer Lingus with an important link to the capital of the United States and will be a welcome boost to business and leisure traffic to Washington and its hinterland.
The airline will operate five flights per week from Ireland to Baltimore and return.
Between now and 18 December, fares start from as low as €228 return excluding taxes for travel between 30 March -31 May 2003. For travel between 1 June-31 August 2003, the lowest fare available for purchase up to 3 December, is €386 return excluding taxes. Taxes are approx €70 extra.
