Singapore Airlines (SIA) has been named one of Singapore`s top brands in the inaugural “Singapore Brand Award 2002” given by International Enterprise Singapore.
This prestigious award is given out to recognise listed companies with the highest brand values and the use of branding as a key strategic tool to differentiate from competition, fortify customer base and to enhance a company`s performance
Accepting the award, Mr Michael Tan, SIA`s Senior Executive Vice-President (Commercial), said, “We are honoured to be selected as one of the top brands in Singapore. Ever since its inception in 1972, Singapore Airlines has been paying particular attention to build a strong image and brand as a national airline, to distinguish itself in the international aviation industry.
