Delta and AT&T Launch Marketing Agreement

With the busy holiday travel season quickly approaching, Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) and AT&T Wireless have entered into a new marketing agreement that enables SkyMiles members to stay connected while earning frequent flyer miles. Beginning today, members opening a new account with AT&T Wireless can earn 5,000 SkyMiles by calling 800-217-1497 or visiting attwireless.com/delta.

“SkyMiles members appreciate the ability to connect with others via wireless service and travel,” said Christine Pierce, Delta’s director of Partnership Marketing. “Our new agreement with AT&T Wireless, which is similar to our recent AT&T residential long distance and local service agreement, allows our members to earn miles at home or on the go.”

“Airline travel and wireless service go hand-in-hand,” said Michael Sievert, chief marketing officer for AT&T Wireless. “Together, Delta and AT&T Wireless are helping people stay on the go, but never out of touch.”

This offer is only available by calling 800-217-1497 or visiting attwireless.com/delta, and is not available in AT&T Wireless retail stores or Authorized Dealer locations.

Delta SkyMiles members earn mileage by flying Delta, Delta Connection carriers, Delta Express, Delta Shuttle and Delta`s airline partners, including Delta`s SkyTeam partners. The Delta SkyMiles program offers many other mileage-building opportunities, including the Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express, AT&T telecommunication services, EarthLink? Internet services, participating hotels, car rental companies, restaurants, home buying and selling, cruise line and flower purchases. The SkyMiles program received InsideFlyer`s 2001 Industry Impact Award for industry-leading and customer-focused promotions.
