Regarding the general strike announced for Friday October 18 from 10.00 until 18.00 hrs. by the members of the CGIL and SULTA union organisations, Alitalia regrets that it will be forced to cancel 275 flights, of which 157 are domestic flights, 114 international, and 4 intercontinental. A further 109 flights will undergo changes to scheduling.

As a result, 35,000 passengers will be unable to fly.
