As the official airline sponsor of the 8th GCC Joint Stamp Exhibition, Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Oman and Qatar, is giving away free return air tickets to Dubai as part of a competition for students from Bahrainå‘s schools.
Every day some 200 to 300 students visit the event, which runs until October 4 at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, and the air tickets are awarded as prizes for a drawing and design competition, which is an integral part of the exhibition.
“Gulf Air affirms its support for the communities of our owning States in various ways. This gesture is an example of our commitment to recognise the artistic talents of the country’s youth,” said James Hogan, President & Chief Executive, Gulf Air.
“We are grateful to Gulf Air for supporting this year’s event, which is proving a resounding success. It has attracted visitors from throughout the GCC and beyond, including amateur stamp collectors as well as international specialists and stamp manufacturers from Holland, Germany and England,” said Tareq Wafa, Chairman of Plane Enterprises Consultancy and organiser of the event.
