Frontier Airlines Names Ian Arthur - Senior Director, Marketing And Brand Management

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced the appointment of Ian Arthur to the position of senior director, marketing and brand management. In this newly created position, Arthur, 47, will lead the airline`s branding strategy and will report directly to Frontier Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke.

“We are extremely proud of Frontier`s unique corporate culture which has provided a solid foundation for Frontier`s brand loyalty in the marketplace,” said Menke. “We want to continue to build upon Frontier`s strengths, and Ian`s entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic marketing background are the perfect combination to lead these efforts,” said Menke.

Arthur most recently served as president/managing partner for Boulder-based Tretorn, where he was responsible for that company`s strategic marketing efforts. Prior to that, Arthur held a variety of senior marketing positions at Toronto-based Irwin Toys Ltd., Portland-based Nike. and Boulder-based Head Sports. His experience also constitutes several other well-known consumer product companies including Prince, Nordica and Dunlop.

Arthur holds a bachelor of arts honors degree in economics and history from York University, Glendon College in Toronto, Canada. He currently resides in Boulder, Colo. with his wife and three daughters.
