Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) ) today announced that it expects its earnings per share for its fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2001 to fall within the range of $0.38 and $0.48 per fully diluted share, as compared to $0.36 per fully diluted share for the same period last year. This expectation is before giving effect to a 3-for-2 split of the company`s common stock, payable March 5, 2001 in the form of a 50 percent stock dividend to shareholders of record on Feb. 19, 2001. The airline also reported total revenue per available seat mile (RASM) of 9.22 cents for the month of January 2001. The airline`s operating cost per available seat mile (CASM) for the same period was 9.02 cents.
