Frontier Airlines Appoints Director Of Electronic Commerce

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced it has appointed Lowell Miller as the airline`s director of e-commerce. Miller, 37, joined the airline in 1994 and has held a variety of positions, including his most recent as director of marketing programs and alliances.

“Last month, Frontier`s Web site contributed over seven percent of our total revenue, and clearly, we recognize a tremendous growth opportunity in the e-commerce area,” said Frontier`s Vice President of Marketing Jeff Potter. “Lowell will be key in further developing this important distribution and communication channel, as well as leading all of our Internet partnership strategies.”


In this newly created position, Miller will be responsible for developing and implementing the airline`s e-commerce strategies, utilizing various forms of current and future technology. In conjunction with Miller`s appointment, the airline announced that it has selected Colorado-based Fourmula Technologies, LLP ( http://www.fourmula.com ) as its agency of record for the redesign and renavigation of the airline`s Web site ( http://www.frontierairlines.com ). The airline anticipates it will unveil its newly designed Site in early April, which will include enhancements that make the Site easier to navigate and afford customers a more direct way of purchasing tickets online.
