Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) today announced it has entered into an aircraft lease agreement for one Boeing 737-300 jet from International Leasing Finance Corporation (ILFC). The airline plans to put the additional jet into service July 1. Additional terms of the agreement were not released. Frontier`s current fleet consists of 17 737-300s and seven 737-200s.

“The demand for Frontier`s service keeps growing, and we continue to explore adding flight frequencies in appropriate markets, as well as consider potential new markets,” said Frontier President Sam Addoms. “In addition, while we certainly aren`t counting on receiving `beyond perimeter` slots at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, we remain hopeful that Frontier is being considered for this potential new service.”
