Indian Ocean Pass Is Launched At Top Resa Trade Fair

The Indian Ocean Pass is a new venture from Air Seychelles, Air Mauritius and Air Austral.
The pass allows a traveller to build his own itinerary around the Indian Ocean Islands on any of the participating airlines network. The network of the pass encompasses the following islands: Comores, Madagascar, Maldives, Mayotte, Mauritius, Reunion, Rodrigues and Seychelles (Mahé and Praslin).

The Pass is built on a per sector fare for each of the above listed islands.
A traveller will merely have to select a minimum of 3 sectors on any of the participating airlines network to enjoy the benefits of being able to island hop around some of the most picturesque islands in the world. For the traveller to qualify for the pass they will have to be in possession of an International Ticket (outside the Indian Ocean islands involved in the Pass) to the region.
Child and Infant fares are also available at a respective 67% and 10% of the respective adult fare on that sector chosen. All pass tickets must be issued on the participating airlines ticket stock and endorsed for travel on the airlines participating in this pass.

The Indian Ocean Pass will be available for trips starting Nov. 1, 2002.
More news, especially about fares and network, to come shortly.
