Cathay Pacific Adds Daily Flight to Manila

Cathay Pacific Airways today announced the addition of a sixth daily flight between Hong Kong and Manila.

The new service from Hong Kong, starting on 1 January 2003, will plug gaps in the airline`s current schedule to the Philippines and provide more convenient onward connections throughout the day at Cathay Pacific`s Hong Kong hub.

The evening departure from Hong Kong of flight CX913 and the breakfast-time turnaround of CX912 from Manila, starting on 2 January 2003, will also offer added convenience to business travellers.

In addition to Manila, Cathay Pacific operates a daily service to the island of Cebu.

Cathay Pacific Director Airline Planning Augustus Tang said: “Manila remains one of Cathay Pacific`s busiest regional routes. The addition of a sixth daily flight will provide the capacity needed to meet the demand we are seeing from passengers wishing to travel to Hong Kong and connect with flights across Cathay Pacific`s network.”
