Cathay Pacific Suspends Remote Check-in

11th Sep 2002

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that due to Typhoon Hagupit`s approach to Hong Kong, the airline has suspended its In-Town Check-In services at Hong Kong Station and Kowloon Station on the Airport Express Line. It has also suspended its telephone check-in service and Internet check-in service for flights departing Hong Kong. The suspension of these services will continue until further notice.
The airline also reported that by and large flights are still operating normally in and out of Hong Kong, except that three in-bound flights have been diverted to Taipei.
Given that weather conditions created by Typhoon Hagupit may change, Cathay Pacific recommends that passengers call the following passenger enquiry hotlines before leaving for the airport.

Chinese-language hotline: 2747- 8888 // English-language hotline: 2747- 8999

Further updates will be issued if circumstances change.
