Delta Air Logistics Honored as International Transportation Business of the Year

ATLANTA, Sept. 6, 2002—Delta Air Logistics, the cargo division of Delta Air Lines, was awarded the International Transportation Business of the Year award on Thursday, Sept. 5, by the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce.
The award, presented at the Chamber’s Eleventh Annual International Awards Ceremony and Luncheon, was given in recognition of the great strides Delta Air Logistics has made in the past year in expanding its presence in the international air freight market. This effort resulted in a remarkable increase in international air freight moving through Atlanta, thereby benefiting the economies in Clayton County, the Southern Crescent of Atlanta, and the entire southeast region.
