Denver (Sept. 5, 2002) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced details of its Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall Sale with discounted fares to destinations throughout its route system. There`s no better vacation time than fall, when the weather is great, kids have returned to school and, now, the fares are low. Tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. (MDT) on Sept. 12, 2002 for travel through Nov. 20, 2002 at midnight (MST).
Fares start as low as $158 round-trip, for travel between Denver and Houston or Denver and Chicago/Midway. Additional round-trip sample fares in markets across the country include: Atlanta - Los Angeles, $268; Dallas/Ft. Worth - Seattle, $228; Indianapolis - Portland, $248; Kansas City - San Francisco, $218; Minneapolis - Sacramento, $228 and New York (LaGuardia) - San Diego, $308. These sale fares reflect off-peak (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), 7-day advance purchase for flights through Denver, and off-peak, ten-day advance purchase for travel originating or terminating in Denver.
Sale fares listed are based on seven-day advance purchase for travel through Denver or 10-day advance purchase for travel originating or terminating in Denver and reflect off-peak travel (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday). Fares are slightly higher on other days. Tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. (MDT) on Sept. 12, 2002 for travel through midnight (MST) on Nov. 20, 2002. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Once purchased, these fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be reissued for a $100 change fee plus any applicable difference in fare. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Fares do not include passenger facilities fees of up to $18 round-trip, the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement, or segment fees of $3. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. Prices subject to change and other restrictions may apply.
