FORT WORTH, Texas - American Eagle Airlines reported its systemwide traffic in August decreased 0.3 percent from a year ago, on a capacity decrease of 6.5 percent. The system load factor was 66.2 percent, up 4.1 points from August 2001.
American Eagle boarded 1.24 million passengers in August, but the total was down 9.9 percent from August a year ago.
