United to Begin New Service Denver to Mexico City

DENVER, Aug. 20, 2002—United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) announced today that it will begin new seasonal Saturday service between the carrierå‘s second-largest hub at Denver (DEN) and Mexico City, Mexico (MEX) beginning Saturday, December 14 through April 26, 2003.
The DEN-MEX service will be flown using Airbus 319 aircraft configured for two classes of service with United’s popular Economy Plus product. With the addition of service from Denver, United now serves Mexico City from all of its domestic hubs, including Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco International, Los Angeles International and Washington-Dulles International.

“This new service represents another example of United’s commitment to maintaining our position as the airline of choice in Denver.” said Sean Donohue, vice president-North America Sales. “In addition, these flights will allow customers in Central America to access United’s worldwide network.”
