Spirit Airlines Launches Fare Sale

Spirit Airlines, the largest privately-held airline in the U.S., announces a fall sale with fares as low as $54* when booking online at www.spiritair.com.

Fares are good for travel through December 15, 2002 and must be booked by August 20, 2002. Spirit`s everyday low-fares require no Saturday night stay or advance purchase and low one-way fares are also available. Additional savings are available when booking online.
“These fares are designed to encourage travelers to take advantage of late summer and fall season savings for affordable vacations or weekend getaways to popular destinations including Myrtle Beach, Denver, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale,” said Tom Anderson, senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer.

Chicago/O`Hare to/from Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers from $79*
Myrtle Beach to/from Chicago/O’Hare or Detroit from $59*
Detroit to/from NY/LaGuardia from $77* Detroit to/from Las Vegas from $82* Detroit to/from Los Angeles or Oakland, CA from $99*
Fort Lauderdale to/from Denver from $89*

*Fares are each way based on round trip purchase and do not include a $3.00 Federal Excise tax that will be imposed on each flight segment. A flight segment is defined as a take-off and a landing. Passenger facility fees up to $18, depending on itinerary, are not included. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment. Fares to and from San Juan do not include an International Air Travel Facilities excise tax of $13.20 each way. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Other restrictions apply.
