Qantas Executive General Manager Corporate Services, David Burden, announced today that Qantas had joined with thirteen other major Australian companies to establish a joint venture to operate an e-procurement, business to business (B2B) exchange.

The exchange is expected to bring major benefits to Qantas and offer a range of value-added services.

Mr Burden said: “We see this as a step on the road to electronic enablement and as an adjunct to our overall electronic business strategy”.
