Qantas Planning To Fly To Canada

4th Apr 2000

Qantas is planning to launch its own services to Canada in July.

The daily Boeing 767 services will operate via Honolulu and will replace existing code share services with Canadian Airlines.

Qantas will operate four return flights each week from Sydney to Toronto via Honolulu and three from Sydney to Vancouver and return via Honolulu.

Currently Qantas operates to Honolulu and code shares on Canadian Airlines services between Honolulu and Canada.

The code share agreement between Qantas and Canadian Airlines will cease on 2 July as a result of the merger between Canadian Airlines and Air Canada.

The new services will replace the existing daily Sydney-Honolulu service.
