With effect from Monday 01 October 2001 South African Airways will levy an amount of US$5 (Five US dollars or about R45,00 ) per passenger per sector (per one way flight). This tax levy will apply to both domestic and international flights and will be collected world-wide at the time the ticket is issued or re-issued.
This levy will be collected from all classes or travel or type of fare and no exceptions will be considered.
The levy is in addition to all other charges and is not subject to any discounts (including child and infant discounts).
