America West, Bank Of America And 76/Circle K Extend Popular Frequent Flyer Partnership

America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA),
76/Circle K and Bank of America announced today the extension of its
successful new frequent flyer program.  Since May, 76/Circle K customers have
racked up three million bonus miles by using their Bank of America
FlightFund(R) Visa card for purchases at 76 gas stations and Circle K
convenience stores nationwide.  Due to its popularity, this program is being
extended through December 31, 2000.

“Over the past few months, this marketing alliance has proven to be a hit
with FlightFund Visa cardholders.  It`s a convenient way for customers to earn
a lot of miles,” said Mike Smith, America West senior vice president,
marketing and sales.

“Earning bonus FlightFund miles from America West Airlines is a great perk
for our on-the-go customers.  We look forward to continuing the program with
Bank of America and America West Airlines,” said Michael O`Connor, vice
president of fuel marketing for 76 / Circle K.

“The extension of this program translates to even more miles and more
rewards for cardholders,” said Jinine Martin, vice president of partnership
marketing for Bank of America.  “This is a popular new way for Bank of America
to add value to the FlightFund Visa card.”

FlightFund members who do not have a FlightFund Visa card can apply by
calling 1-800-691-2933 or by enrolling online at
http://www.bankofamerica.com/americawest.  New cardholders will receive up to 5,000
bonus miles upon first-time approval of the FlightFund Platinum Visa card or,
receive 2,500 bonus miles upon first-time approval of the FlightFund Classic
Visa card.
