America West Appoints Josef Loew Vice President, Revenue Management

America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA) today
announced the appointment of Josef Loew as vice president, revenue management.
Loew will be responsible for pricing, yield management and revenue analysis
for the airline, which reported a record $2.1 billion in revenue last year.
 
“Josef has played a significant role in the strong revenue performance of
America West over the last several years,” said Bernie Han, senior vice
president, planning.  “We look forward to continued success under his
leadership.”
 
Loew joined America West in 1997, serving first as senior director of
revenue analysis and more recently as senior director of yield management.
Prior to joining America West, Loew worked at Northwest Airlines for more than
five years and Canadian Airlines for a year and a half in various revenue
management and marketing planning positions.  Loew holds a master`s in
business administration from the University of Calgary and a bachelor of arts
degree in applied physics from the University of Munich.
