America West And Teamsters Announce Tentative Agreement

America West Airlines, Inc., (NYSE: AWA)
the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (“IBT”) and its Local 104 today
announced a tentative agreement on a five-year contract.  The agreement, which
is endorsed by both the IBT and the Local`s negotiating committee, is subject
to membership approval and will be voted on by union members as soon as

union`s membership.

America West Airlines, the nation`s ninth largest carrier, serves more
than 90 destinations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  For the second

Associates Airline Customer Satisfaction Study—U.S. Flights.  America West
