Commenting on the award, Aer Lingus Commercial Director, Mark Mortell said “The award was a recognition of the team effort which has made the airline into a more competitive and customer focused business. It is really a tribute to the Aer Lingus staff who operate in a fiercely competitive marketplace. The investment in new aircraft, and the continuing upgrading of our product and services is being recognised by our customers but the challenge is to continue to provide a better level of service which clearly differentiates Aer Lingus from our competitors”, said Mr Mortell.
