Aer Lingus described the meeting with FLS this morning as positive and productive. The Group understands the position taken by FLS to suspend the due diligence process at this stage.

It was always understood that the sale of TEAM to FLS would require the support of the staff of TEAM.

A spokesperson for Aer Lingus said that, given the developments taking place in the industry globally, the only future for TEAM is as part of a bigger player.

” We remain convinced that the sale of TEAM to FLS is the best and only viable strategy for TEAM, its staff and the Aer Lingus Group as a whole” , he said.
” We are confident that provided TEAM staff support the strategy, the proposed sale of TEAM to FLS can go ahead” , the spokesperson added.
