Gulf Air, the flagship carrier of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar, has been exclusively appointed as the Official Airline sponsor of the Arab International Business Travel and Meetings (AIBTM 2002) exhibition from 30 to 31 January 2002.

In its second year, AIBTM 2002, which will be held at the Gulf International Convention Centre, Bahrain, is the only event of its kind in the region and is a showcase for the Middle East meetings and incentive travel industry.

Over 2000 conference organisers and corporate event planners are expected to attend the event from all over the Middle East, Europe and Asia. In its role as the events Official Airline, Gulf Air will provide specially discounted air travel to all international visitors to the two-day exhibition.

Exhibitors include conference venues, hotel groups, airlines, national tourist organisations, destination and event management companies, as well as trade publications and technology providers, from throughout the Gulf and further a field.
