easyJet now offers services to a total of 11 domestic and international destinations from Gatwick, further strengthening its position as one of the largest scheduled carriers at the airport.
Last week, easyJet launched two brand new routes from Gatwick - Madrid and Alicante. These new services, which start operation on 4 September 2002, are in addition to the existing flights to Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Edinburgh, Geneva, Malaga, Majorca, Nice and Zurich.
easyJet has an established presence in London and the South East because of its services from London Luton airport. However the development of flights from Gatwick offers a convenient alternative to passengers living south of London.
