Launches Multilingual Web Site for Latin American Customers

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) customers in Latin America now can easily access the information most relevant to them at, a Web site featuring tailored, localized information in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The Delta Air Lines América Latina site provides direct access to local and regional special fares and offers, city-specific Delta news, flight departure and arrival information, SkyMiles?’ enrollment and other tailored travel information.
“Our customers in Latin America now have another tool to enhance their travel experience - a Web site dedicated specifically to their needs,” said Steve Scheper, Delta’s managing director of e-business, business-to-consumer. “The launch of this site allows Delta to speak more directly to our customers in Latin America.”
Delta’s América Latina site also provides Delta news specific to major cities including Bogota, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Caracas, Venezuela; Lima, Peru; Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; San Jose, Costa Rica; San Salvador, El Salvador; Cancun, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Los Cabos and Mexico City, Mexico; as well as countries Guatemala and Panama.
Online enrollment in Delta SkyMiles is available at, enabling customers to become members and earn mileage by flying Delta, Delta Connection carriers, Delta Express, Delta Shuttle and Delta`s airline partners, including Delta`s SkyTeam partners. The Delta SkyMiles program offers many other mileage-building opportunities, including the Corp Banca Credit Card in Chile, participating hotels, car rental companies, cruise line and flower purchases.
