Overall traffic:

November traffic increased by 2%,  while capacity was at last year`s level.This is in line with traffic development in KLM`s second quarter (July-September) and October. Consequently, overall load factor increased by 1.2 percentage points from 78.6% last year to 79.8% this year. Traffic growth was especially strong in the route areas Africa (+20%) and Asia Pacific (+7%).

Passenger traffic:

Passenger traffic and capacity both increased by approximately 1%. Passenger load factor increased by 0.7 of a percentage point to 76.9% this year. Passenger traffic growth was strong in the route areas Asia Pacific (+9%) and Africa (+9%).  Business Class traffic was especially strong in the route areas North Atlantic,  Asia Pacific as well in Africa.

Cargo traffic:
Cargo traffic increased by 3%, whereas capacity grew by 1%. Traffic growth was especially strong in the route area Africa (+50%), where capacity grew by 23%. Load factor in the Africa area increased by 13.8% to 76.5% this year. Overall cargo load factor increased by 1.2 percentage points to 76.4% this year.
