Continental Airlines Announces New International Commission Structure
Continental Airlines, Continental Express and Continental Micronesia (NYSE: CAI.B and CAI.A) today announced a new travel agency commission rate structure for international travel, effective immediately.
Tickets purchased in the United States (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands), Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas and the Marshall Islands for international travel will earn an eight percent base commission, with a maximum payment of $100 for each round trip and $50 for each one-way flight. Tickets purchased in Canada for international travel will earn an eight percent base commission, with a maximum payment of $140 CAD for each round trip and $70 CAD for each one-way flight.
Travel agents should consult their computerized reservation systems for additional information.
