Continental Airlines, for the second year, was named as having the Best Transatlantic Business Class and Best Transpacific Business Class of all U.S. airlines in Condé Nast Traveler`s Business Travel Awards. The survey, which was announced in the June issue of Condé Nast Traveler magazine, polled 3,000 frequent business travelers.
“Our team continues to improve year after year,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gordon Bethune. “This award shows we still have a decisive edge on our competitors in providing exceptional service.”
This summer, BusinessFirst will be offered on 20 non-stop transatlantic routes, six Latin America routes, six transpacific routes and numerous domestic routes.
Continental Airlines` customer service on long distance flights recently was ranked No. 1 among the major airlines by Frequent Flyer magazine and J.D. Power and Associates. In addition, Continental has received recognition and numerous awards for its business class product, including notice by the Wall Street Journal, OAG Official Airline Guides, Entrepreneur and Smart Money magazines.
BusinessFirst is one of the plushest premium cabins intended for business travelers. The service features extra-wide electronic sleeper seats, adjustable winged headrests, and personal entertainment systems showing the latest movies and providing a variety of audio channels.
