US Airways Offers Summer-Fall Travel Bargains Systemwide

US Airways is offering customers the ability to avoid driving and lengthy traffic delays this summer and early fall with new travel bargains available throughout its system. Fares are as low as $78 roundtrip on some routes.

Even greater bargains are available for tickets purchased online through usairways.com, where customers will receive an additional 5 percent off the lowest sale fare during the course of this special promotion.
Under the sale, tickets for U.S. and Canada travel must be purchased at least seven or 14 days before departure (depending on the destination), and no later than July 25, 2002. One Saturday night stay is required and all travel must be completed by Oct. 1, 2002. The lowest fares are available when traveling Monday through Thursday.
For Europe flights, tickets must be purchased no later than July 25, 2002, with travel originating Sept. 5, 2002, or beyond. All travel must be completed by Nov. 30, 2002. The lowest fares are available when traveling Monday through Thursday. For London and Manchester, travel is valid beginning Sept. 26, 2002, with the lowest fares available for travel Monday through Wednesday. One Saturday night stay is required.
Caribbean travel requires that tickets be purchased no later than Aug. 9, 2002, with travel originating Sept. 3, 2002, or beyond. All travel must be completed by Dec. 12, 2002. The lowest fares are available when traveling to the Caribbean Monday through Thursday and returning Tuesday through Friday. A minimum three-night stay is required and some dates around the Thanksgiving holiday do not qualify for the sale.
As an added incentive, earn 3,000 miles with the first ticket purchase through usairways.com and 1,000 miles thereafter for travel through Dec. 31, 2002. For the 3,000-mile first time booking bonus, tickets must be purchased by July 31, 2002. Allow three weeks after travel is complete for miles to be posted.
