Continental Airlines Enhances OnePass Program With Exclusive Flight Notification Service For Members

Continental Airlines today announced the launch of TripAlert, a free service for members of the
company`s OnePass frequent flyer program that sends electronic mail and pager
notification for those infrequent instances of pre-departure flight delays and
cancellations.

Members of OnePass, Continental`s award-winning frequent flyer program,
need only register for this optional service once by logging in to
continental.com and following the links to the OnePass “Your Account” area.
Members will be notified of the status of their flight every time they fly.

Using the customer`s OnePass number, TripAlert messages are sent
automatically to the OnePass member`s alphanumeric pager, text-ready mobile
phone and/or e-mail box, enabling customers with wireless capabilities to stay
abreast of schedule changes even while on the road.  The service will notify
customers of delays and cancellations on all flights operated by Continental
Airlines and Continental Express aircraft.

“This new service is another way Continental provides our most valuable
and loyal customers with information that has real value,” said Mark Bergsrud,
Continental Airlines vice president of marketing.  “Furthermore, TripAlert,
combined with other industry-leading flight notification features available at
continental.com, underscores our commitment to notify customers of the best
available information regarding known delays and cancellations.”

Continental Airlines is the fifth largest airline in the U.S., offering
more than 2,000 departures daily to 126 domestic and 89 international
destinations.  Operating hubs in New York, Houston, Cleveland and Guam,
Continental serves more international cities than any other U.S. carrier,
including extensive service throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.  For
