Cathay Pacific Outlines Travelsky Cooperation

Cathay Pacific Airways today announced its plans for co-operation with the Beijing-based Civil Aviation Computer Information Center (CACI), the largest single shareholder of TravelSky Technology Ltd. Cathay Pacific took part as a Corporate Investor in TravelSky`s IPO on 7 February this year in Hong Kong.

As a Corporate Investor Cathay Pacific will now co-operate with to broaden the awareness in mainland China of Cathay Pacific`s services and products. It is planned that Cathay Pacific flight schedules will be available via, and that passengers in China booking mainland carriers` flights will also be able to arrange connecting flights on Cathay Pacific via

Launched in December 1999, is the only destination website in China that can provide real-time scheduling, seat availability, pricing information and process bookings on all 25 Chinese commercial airlines, as well as Air Macau. The website also handles car rentals and hotel reservations.

The ability to include Cathay Pacific`s products and schedules on our site is another big advantage to customers booking tickets.”

TravelSky`s website - - was established by the Civil Aviation Computer Information Center (CACI). CACI develops and supplies the inventory control systems, computer reservations systems (CRS), and airport passenger processing systems for all airlines in China. Its network extends to over 300 mainland Chinese cities and 80 foreign cities, with over 28,000 terminals so far connected.
