Air Canada announced today that flight attendants represented by CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees, Airline Division ) will vote on the company`s latest contract offer.
On June 20, after four days of bargaining, negotiations between Air Canada and CUPE reached an impasse. CUPE has advised its members it will be sending the company`s latest offer of June 19 out for a vote while at the same time recommending that the offer be rejected. Voting is expected to conclude on July 5.
