As part of the on-going integration of Air
Canada and Canadian Airlines, Air Canada advises that effective January 1,
2001, Air Canada and Canadian Airlines International Ltd. completed their
corporate amalgamation, with the amalgamated entity being known as Air Canada.
The amalgamation affects only the legal status of the corporate entities and
not the operations of the airlines.
