Air Canada Names Doug Port, Senior Vice President, Customer Service

Air Canada today named Doug Port as Senior Vice
President, Customer Service, based in Calgary.  His appointment will be
effective February 1st.

“Doug`s wide experience in customer service, having run our Toronto hub,
our airport world and our international operations, prepares him well for this
important role,” said Robert Milton, President and CEO.

In addition to his responsibilities for Airports, In-Flight Service, Call
Centres and Customer Solutions, Port will also have added responsibilities as
Air Canada`s senior representative in Western Canada. This marks the first
time in Air Canada`s history that a senior executive with network line
responsibilities has been based in Western Canada and reinforces the company`s
deep commitment to the region.

“As Air Canada`s former general manager for Southern Alberta in Calgary,
this appointment is somewhat of a `homecoming` for Doug,” added Milton.
“Western Canada is a vital part of our network and Doug`s appointment will
ensure that the interests of this dynamic region are fully represented.”
