Air Canada Opens New Maple Leaf Lounge At Edmonton International Airport

Air Canada opened today a new Maple Leaf Lounge
in the new South Terminal of Edmonton International Airport. The 455-square
meter (4,900 sq. ft.) lounge is conveniently located in the post-security zone
near Air Canada`s prime departure gates. The new lounge provides for a seating
capacity of 70 persons. The existing Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge located in
the North Terminal remains open to serve customers travelling on flights
operated by Air Canada`s regional carriers.

The bright and spacious lounge with airside view offers travellers a
quiet and comfortable area to work or relax prior to their flight. Customers
can choose from a wide selection of newspapers and magazines. An inviting
bistro area offers complimentary snacks including breakfast, pastries,
selection of cheeses and freshly baked cookies as well as cold and hot
beverages including draught beer on tap. A separate seating area with
oversized chairs provides a private and relaxed environment to enjoy various
audio/visual entertainment. In addition, customers can browse the Internet in
the Cyber-Café equipped with flat screen computers and high-speed Internet
access.

modern ergonomically designed furnishings, latest personal computers and
software, high-speed links to the Internet, laser printers, fax machines,
photocopier and stationery.

The contemporary design of the lounge, including maple wood and polished
stainless steel, is further complemented by beautiful artwork from various
Canadian artists.

The new Edmonton lounge joins the family of Air Canada`s 28 lounges,
which are earning high praise from discerning customers, and have won several
prestigious design awards. Lounges are open to Air Canada Executive First and
Executive Class ticket holders as well as Aeroplan Super Elite and Elite
members, Star Alliance Gold card holders and Maple Leaf Club members.
