Air Canada today announced that a complaint
lodged by the Association of Canadian Travel Agents (ACTA) concerning Air
Canada`s recent online seat sale will not be pursued by the Competition
Bureau.

The Bureau advised the carrier on August 24, that having reviewed the
complaint and other available information, it has concluded that it does not
provide grounds for an inquiry under the Act.

The Competition Bureau has also recently advised that it would not pursue
a complaint relating to Air Canada`s entry on the Calgary-Abbotsford route as
well as an earlier complaint relating to certain Air Canada fares on the
Terrace-Vancouver route.
