ATA Announces its ``Fall Sale``

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 9, 2002—ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.) (Nasdaq:ATAH) today launched a “Fall Sale” featuring special, low fares for customers planning the perfect fall getaway.

These fares are available today through Monday, July 22, 2002, until midnight E.S.T. for travel August 13 through December 12, 2002, to and from Chicago-Midway and Indianapolis. These fares are also good for travel August 13 through September 30, 2002, to all other ATA markets (except to and from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for travel beginning August 15, 2002; to and from Lexington, Ky., for travel beginning August 28, 2002; and to and from San Jose, Calif., for travel beginning October 1, 2002).(a) As an added bonus, customers who book their reservations online at ATA.Com will save an additional $10 per round-trip, per person, on these already low sale fares.

ATA`s “Fall Sale” fares are off-peak, each way based on a round-trip purchase.
