Cathay Pacific Airways today held an Open Day for the underprivileged groups to tour its newly painted “Asia`s world city” aircraft. Over 800 people from 23 community groups took part in the visit, including elderly, children, mentally and physically disabled groups.
The participants toured the newly painted aircraft featuring its enhanced First Class, Business Class, and the refreshed Economy Class cabin. They were also given a demonstration by flight attendants of the various facilities on board, and were presented with souvenirs to commemorate their visit.
The “Asia`s world city” aircraft carries on its fuselage the striking logo of the `flying dragon`, complemented by the brandline “Asia`s world city”. From afar, the dragon, which symbolises the spirit of Hong Kong and its people, is seen soaring over the green waves, which depicts the lands and oceans of the world.
Within the cabin, exclusively designed “Asia`s world city” fixtures have been chosen to extend the “Asia`s world city” branding throughout. By flying the aircraft across its network, Cathay Pacific aims to continue in its efforts to promote Hong Kong around the world.
