Ryanair, Europe`s only Low Fares Airline, today (Wednesday, 26th June 2002) announced the appointment of Ms. Sinead Finn, as Sales and Marketing Manager based at its London Base in Stansted Airport. Sinead, was previously the airlines Sales Manager for Italy, will now assume overall responsibility for the Company`s Sales and Marketing activities in the UK and Continental Europe.

Announcing the appointment today Ryanair`s Commercial Director, Mr. Michael Cawley said:

“I am delighted to have someone of Sinead`s calibre and experience to take over the mantle from Tim Jeans. During her tenure in Italy that market has grown to be Ryanair`s third largest with over four million passengers travelling on our routes this year. We are clearly the leading airline from the UK to Italy and I look forward to working with Sinead and our superb team of National Sales Managers to replicate this level of growth for the airline in every market we fly”.
This year, Ryanair will carry over 13 million passengers on its 76 routes across 13 countries. Ryanair currently has a fleet of 42 Boeing 737`s, and firm orders for up to a further 107 new 737-800`s, which will be delivered over the next 8 years.
