Spirit Airlines Adds Second Daily Flight in Las Vegas

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 26, 2002) - “We haven’t even started our much anticipated service into Las Vegas and already the market is demanding we add a second daily flight!’” said Tom Anderson, chief marketing officer of Spirit Airlines. “And our new flight to Detroit with continuing service to Fort Lauderdale as well as connecting service to New York’s LaGuardia and Atlantic City, NJ will begin just in time for the 2002 holiday season.”


Spirit, the largest privately-held airline in the U.S., had already announced its first entry into the Las Vegas market, would begin on June 27, 2002. Starting tomorrow, Spirit will offer daily non-stop service from McCarran International Airport to Detroit with connecting service to Fort Myers, Fla


On November 14, 2002, just before the Thanksgiving travel season, the second daily flight will take travelers from Las Vegas to Detroit continuing on to Fort Lauderdale as well as offering connections from Detroit to Atlantic City, NJ and New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Fares from Las Vegas to Ft. Lauderdale, Atlantic City, and New York begin at $99* each way. These fares are each way based on round trip purchase and must be purchased by July 17 for travel between November 14, 2002 and January 31, 2003.
