British Airways has launched a new innovative Internet site, making it easier and quicker for customers to find what they need at the click of a button.
The new website can now be reached more quickly as visitors can simply enter www.BA.com to access it. Simon Parks-Smith, Head of eCommerce said, “More than ever before British Airways sees eCommerce as vital to the airlines future and the website is becoming an important communication channel for our customers. There are even more facilities on the new website that enable customers to research, plan and manage their travel. We have worked with a broad range of travellers to make sure the new site is simple, making it easier for them to find what they want, when they want it.”
The new, cleaner look site gives customers instant access to the most up-to-date flight information, real time arrival and departure information and special offers, including online discounts, as well as the wealth of other services British Airways offers online.
A new feature of the site is to offer Executive Club members access to their statements online. This function complements the extensive existing services already offered to members online including checking-in, booking and redeeming miles, choosing where they want to sit, specifying any special dietary requirements and viewing their future travel plans.
The airline intends to extend the new website capabilities over the next year with additional features to help BA customers take more control of their travel.
