British Airways will resume some flights between the UK and Canada today, Friday September 14, following approval from the Canadian regulatory authorities.

The flights are:

BA095 Heathrow to Montreal departing 17.05hrs

BA085 Heathrow to Vancouver departing 16.30hrs

BA099 Heathrow to Toronto departing 16.15hrs


Flights to the USA remain suspended pending details from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) about the new aviation security measures for international flights.

Scheduled services from Canada to the UK will also begin today.

British Airways operates daily return services to Montreal and Vancouver and twice daily services to Toronto, all from London Heathrow Terminal 4 and the full schedule is expected to resume on Saturday, September 15.

The airline`s reservations number 0845 77 999 77 is open for customer enquiries.

Customers with bookings on these services should check-in for these flights as normal.

Bookings for future flights can also be made using the airline`s website or via travel agents.

Flights to Tel Aviv are also operating normally although flights to Islamabad are suspended until further notice.
