British Airways has appointed Phil Hogg as its new Head of Property.
Phil assumes responsibility for BA’s billion pound worldwide property portfolio, the airline’s second largest asset after its fleet of aircraft.
He’ll also be picking up a number of facilities management initiatives designed to improve the use of buildings and to improve customer service.
Phil joined the airline in 1974 as an engineering apprentice. Since then he has held a range of operational and commercial positions within the Engineering department.
These have included General Manager Line Maintenance and Maintrol, General Manager Fleet 3 and Account Manager Europe.
Phil’s career has also included a secondment to Boston Consulting Group reviewing the commercial strategy of BA Engineering.
