Customers booking with British Airways can now save money each time they buy a ticket via the airline’s website -

From now on, passengers will benefit from a discount of £3 for domestic and shorthaul flights and £5 for longhaul journeys.

The discount will apply to all bookings and journeys to and from the UK and will include franchise partners*.

When making a booking, customers will be asked to select an e-ticket on routes where the service is available.

Tiffany Hall, Head of UK and Ireland Sales said: “Selling on-line represents a great way for us to manage our costs and, in turn, gives us an opportunity to pass on savings to our customers.

“We’re also keen to show customers the convenience of e-ticket and how it opens the door to a whole host of other time-saving options, such as self-service check-in at the terminals.”

The discount is consistent with on-line incentives already offered by some agents and other airlines.
