ADVICE FOR CUSTOMERS TRAVELLING WITH BRITISH AIRWAYS

British Airways is advising its customers to arrive for flights as normal today (Sunday, March 18) but to expect average delays of up to 30 minutes on some services.

The airline continues to experience problems with its computer systems and this is affecting check-in for departing flights from its airports in the UK and overseas.

Mike Street, Director of Customer Services and Operations, said: “We would like to apologise to all our customers and reassure them that we are doing everything we can to minimise the inconvenience. We have laid on extra staff in the terminals and most flights are now getting away with minimal delays.
