Air Canada Launches New Tango Service on Saturday, June 22 Between Charlottetown and Halifax

CHARLOTTETOWN, June /CNW/ - Tango by Air Canada service will take to
the skies Saturday, June 22 between Charlottetown and Halifax. A host of local
officials, including representatives of the Charlottetown Airport Authority as
well as Air Canada staff, will be on hand to inaugurate the new service with
festive celebrations including a ribbon cutting and an on-board give-away of a
pair of tickets anywhere in the Tango network for one lucky passenger.

Tango introductory one-way fares on the Charlottetown-Halifax route start
as low as $59, with additional discounts for bookings made on-line. This fare
is more than 75 per cent off the full economy fare, with no minimum stay or
advance purchase requirement, a convenient schedule and the opportunity to
accumulate Aeroplan Miles redeemable for future reward travel.

“The arrival of Tango is a realization of one of our goals; to enhance
air service for Islanders by offering reliable, low cost service to domestic
destinations. Tango does that for us. Welcome to Prince Edward Island,” said
Mike Campbell, Manager of the Charlottetown Airport Authority.

“We are excited to add Charlottetown to the comprehensive network Tango
serves from coast to coast,” said Ben Smith, Managing Director, Tango.
“Islanders will enjoy Tango`s consistently low fares and user-friendly website
and can count on Air Canada`s reputation for providing safe and reliable
service.”
